The Anderson Outdoor Pool, a beloved community asset since 1979, is nearing the end of its functional lifespan. Replacement costs are estimated at $12–$17 million. Due to the scale of the investment and limits of the City’s General Fund, creative financing strategies and funding partnerships will be essential. As of fall 2025, the design phase of a replacement pool is planned for 2026, with construction (pending securing funding) estimated to occur in 2028 or later.
