Serving as fiscal-sponsor for community organizations that extend our mission to improve quality of life for all Wheat Ridge residents.
History
The Wheat Ridge Community Foundation was established in 2004 for the purpose of enhancing the community through education, cultural enrichment, decoration and beautification.
Operations
The Foundation operates with three part-time independent contractors and a Wheat Ridge-based, CPA-accredited accountant. Additional administrative tasks are performed by our volunteer Board of Directors and dedicated Client Fund Representatives.
Funding
The Wheat Ridge Community Foundation encourages civic-minded residents to come together to invest in our city's future. The Foundation deducts a $50.00 Administration Fee from all Client Funds that were active in the preceding fiscal year, January 1 to December 31. Donations to the the Foundation will help us grown our Endowment Fund to become permanently self-funded.
