During his term of service from 2004 to 2014, Curtis J. Gilmore was a tireless advocate for the students of Jefferson County. One of Curt's initiatives was to collect thousands of used computers to help level the educational playing field for students of lesser means. Curt was also instrumental in founding the Lakewood High School Class of '51 Scholarship and Endowment. The Curtis J. Gilmore Lifelong Learning Fund was established by the Foundation in his honor. As founding board member, Curt served at President of the Foundation Board.
