Returns to Las Vegas for 2nd Fabulous Run
In the winning spirit of High School Musical 2, and The Godfather Part II, the Game Show Boot Camp 2 makes a triumphant return to Las Vegas on August 5, 2023!
The Game Show Boot Camp is a full day of competition, workshops, and advanced training for those who want to get on their favorite game show... and win.

Last year’s GSBC featured tips and head-to-head events with a bevy of game show legends led by Las Vegas’s own champion James Holzhauer. James will be back again this year, and while the rest of the lineup is still being invited, we’re expecting the return of famous faces and the arrival of new ones.
This year, in response to camper feedback, Game Show Boot Camp 2 will feature a one-day format and an exclusive field of 45 participants. Front and center will be a major tournament of the game 5x5 (created by Bill Schantz), with game show-style categories, buzzing, and quizzing competition for all campers. The tournament, across the afternoon and evening, will feature campers going head-to-head against champions and each other in pursuit of the coveted GSBC Baton of Victory.
Also returning will be Maggie Speak, veteran producer and contestant coordinator, to reprise her popular session on how to be the ideal game show candidate. Fritz Holznagel will lead a new panel on The State of the Buzzer, and other experts will be on hand to offer one-on-one tips, workshops, and answer your questions, including Bob Boden – EMMY-nominated producer and co-founder of the National Archives of Game Show History. Game Show Boot Camp 2 will once again be held just off the Las Vegas Strip at the Hampton Inn Tropicana, 4975 Dean Martin Drive.
As always, Game Show Boot Camp 2 is a fundraiser for a very good cause: Project 150 (project150.org), a Las Vegas non-profit providing free support and services to homeless, displaced and disadvantaged high school students.
