GAME SHOW WRITING
Terrence “Terry” McDonnell has been the producer, writer and creator of award-winning television across six remarkable decades. His credits include 7 years as head writer and associate producer of Jeopardy!, 7 years as co-executive producer of Comedy Central’s wickedly irreverent hit Win Ben Stein’s Money, and as senior producer of the original ABC version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. He has been the supervising producer of Master Minds since the show’s launch, and has worked as supervising producer on shows like 500 Questions, Catch 21 and Common Knowledge. His 20-year body of work in prime time TV includes scripts for the original Battlestar Galactica, Magnum, P.I., The Six Million Dollar Man, The Love Boat, and many other shows, and his animation credits include scripts for X-Men, M.A.S.K, The Pink Panther and Beetlejuice. Terry and his shows have received five Emmy Awards and 16 nominations, and over the years he has generously shared his expertise with writing programs around the country. It’s our great good fortune to have him join us at the Game Show Boot Camp.
