In an effort to bring Wheat Ridge schools to the table as contributing partners to the Wheat Ridge community, the Wheat Ridge Coalition was co-founded in 2022 by Jeffco Family Engagement Liaisons Liz Romero and Lisa Denton. In addition to all Wheat Ridge schools, the Coalition was joined by the City of Wheat Ridge and local service organizations including Rotary, Kiwanis, the Optimist Club and the Action Center. Led by Council-members Val Beck, Korey Stites and Amanda Weaver, Wheat Ridge Coalition was approved for a grant by the City of Wheat Ridge to move forward making Wheat Ridge schools and our communities the best they can be.
