The Wheat Ridge Optimist Club membership includes men and women who are dedicated to serving the youth of Wheat Ridge through service projects. Each year, the Club funds over $4,000 in scholarships, of which there are four named after our own members. We also support AWRSAY, which has been helping 10-12 students go to Red Rocks Community College each year. Our Annual Christmas Gifting reaches over 300 kids and 100 families with Christmas gifts and food cards. This annual event continues to be our most heartfelt contribution to the community.
