Amy Schneider won $1,382,800 during a remarkable 40-game winning streak on Jeopardy! in 2021-22. It’s the second-longest streak ever in the show’s history, and her earnings are the fourth-highest among all regular-season totals. She is the winningest female Jeopardy! contestant of all time, and will return to Jeopardy! for the show’s Tournament of Champions this fall. “One of the keys to my success on Jeopardy was the behind-the-scenes information I was able to get from former contestants,” says Amy. “Game Show Boot Camp is a great chance to get those tips that can make all the difference on game day.”
Muffy Marracco is a seasoned veteran of both sides of the game show podium. Along with Ken Jennings, she is one of the original Trivia Experts on the popular Game Show Network show Master Minds. As a contestant, she’s run the gamut from the Jeopardy! Teen Tournament to 500 Questions, The Chase, and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Muffy will be sharing her hard-earned wisdom with boot campers — both as a longtime contestant and as the brainy adversary who breaks contestants’ hearts daily on Master Minds. “My first game show appearance was 30 years ago!” she says. “The more I've played, the more I've learned that feeling comfortable, having energy, and having fun are the keys to a successful appearance."
Amy and Muffy will join James, Brad, and other surprise special guests in a full weekend of activities with boot campers, including seminars, games, and panel Q&As. A special highlight will be the Saturday night TITAN THROWDOWN, where campers will fight for the right to match wits with the experts in a game show-style contest.
The Game Show Boot Camp will be held just off the Las Vegas Strip at the Hampton Inn Tropicana, 4975 Dean Martin Drive, from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, August 19-21. The Titan Throwdown will take place nearby at The Space, 3460 Cavaretta Court in Las Vegas, on Saturday evening, August 20.
Tickets to the Game Show Boot Camp, which includes Saturday night’s Titan Throwdown, are available at gameshowbootcamp.org. Tickets for the Titan Throwdown only will be available soon through The Space at thespacelv.com.
The Game Show Boot Camp is a fundraiser for a very good cause: Project 150 (project150.org), a Las Vegas non-profit providing free support and services to homeless, displaced and disadvantaged high school students.
